Herin`s Story

"Birth takes a woman's deepest fears about herself and show her that she is stronger than them"

At DD Pro Imaging we do all types of shoots and during every shoot we like to incorporate a variety of techniques from lighting to the props. During the maternity shoot with the stunning mother to be, our main focus was to capture Hera`s natural state.

To achieve such natural beauty we tried to keep the shoot simple. In our studio we have a variety of backdrops but we mainly focus on white backgrounds. Herin brought a couple of dresses in which added great length and depth to her shots. We used shadows and depth to create a natural look for the mother to be. The best way to reach simplicity is to wrap Herin in tulle in which created a focus on her entire body. We used two different colors of tulle purple and light pink (yes its a girl). The purple tulle added lots of character and depth, but the light pink was much softer and supple.

What a difference between the pink and the purple, its like night and day. The soft pink adds a sense of harmony and warmth. Mother to be is delighted to be caring a baby girl, which is clearly shown. The purple tulle is electric and vibrant especially against the white, adds lots of depth.

Who said long flowing dresses wont look good on a pregnant woman? Herin looks like a  beautiful goddess in these shots. The tri-color ombre dress is just magnificent on Herin, she holds her belly with confidence which makes this shot look very powerful and strong. The peachy orange dress Hera is wearing looks stunning on her especially blowing in the wind. In this picture she looks like a statue of a Greek goddess, very natural and in a state of motherhood.

From everyone here at DD Pro Imaging we would like to thank Herin for an amazing shoot. We look forward to seeing you in our studio again especially with your baby girl. :)
